SageGridLab is the trading name of Sage Alert LLC, registered in
Sharjah Media City (SHAMS), United Arab Emirates. This policy explains
what we collect when you visit this site or work with us, and what we
do with it.
Key points, if you don't read the rest
We collect what you give us through forms and what's needed to run a
project. We don't sell it. We don't share it beyond the vendors that
help us operate. You can ask us to show you, fix it, or delete it at
any time. The detail is below.
What we collect
When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, email
address, website (if you give one), how you found us, and whatever you
write in the project details field. If you attach a file, we store
that too.
If you become a client, we collect what's needed to deliver the work
and bill for it: company name, billing contact, project details, and
payment information processed through our payment provider. We don't
store your card details ourselves. That sits with the payment
processor.
Like most sites, we also pick up some technical information
automatically: your browser type, approximate location from your IP
address, and which pages you visit. We use this to see what's working
on the site and fix what isn't, not to build a profile of you.
What we do with it
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, scope and deliver
projects, send invoices, and, if you've agreed to it, send occasional
updates about our work. We don't sell your data. We don't rent it out
to other companies for marketing.
We share information with the vendors that help us run the business:
our payment processor, our hosting provider, and our email/CRM tools.
Each of them only sees what they need to do their job.
Where your data goes
We're based in the UAE, but most of our clients are in the US and
Canada, and the tools we use to run the business (hosting, payment
processing, email) may store data on servers outside your country.
That's normal for a small business running on cloud tools, but you
should know it's happening. We choose vendors that maintain their own
security and privacy standards, and we don't control or audit their
infrastructure beyond that.
How long we keep it
We keep client records for as long as the engagement runs, plus
whatever period our accounting and tax obligations require afterward.
Contact form submissions that never turn into a project get deleted
after 12 months.
Your rights
If you're in Canada, you can ask us what we hold on you, ask us to
correct it, or ask us to delete it, under PIPEDA. The same goes for
clients anywhere else with similar rights under local law. Email
hello@sagegridlab.com and we'll handle it within 30 days.
If you're a California resident, you have the same rights under the
CCPA, plus the right to know whether we sell your data (we don't) and
to opt out if that ever changes.
This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect
information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us
information, email us and we'll delete it.
We don't use automated tools to make decisions about you. No algorithm
scores your inquiry or decides whether we respond. A person reads
every form submission.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies for site analytics and to remember
your preferences. You can block these in your browser settings; the
site will still work, though some preferences won't be remembered
between visits. See our Cookie Policy for the specific list.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data in a meaningful way, we'll update
this page and note the date at the top. We won't quietly expand what
we collect without telling you.
